About Eli Harris

I am a father in Nassau County, NY, with sole custody of my now
9 year old son (was 6 at the time). I personally went through a
nightmare of a divorce and gained knowledge and wisdom
regarding the process of divorce that I feel compelled to pass on.
Thus, I formed Divorce ABC's to help individuals with the ABC's of
divorce.

I was forced into a custody trial involving Parental Alienation and
became a mini Expert on that as well. After over 18 days of trial I
was awarded sole custody of my son, while his mother received a
fair visitation schedule.

I am not an attorney or a therapist and don't pretend to be one.
I am just someone who has been through many aspect of the
divorce process. During that time I have gained valuable
experience that could help many individuals who are in a similar
situation. I require all clients to sign a waiver to that effect.

I have experience in: negotiating settlements both on custody
issues and financial, court appointed Forensic Psychologists, Law
Guardians, Family Court issues, variety of custody issues and a
custody trial, living with the opposition in the same house and
much, much more.
